Gabe’s Story
Gabe is a happy 10 year boy who is always smiling and full of character. In late June, he started to complain of pain in his arm. After a visit to the doctor’s office it was determined he may have osteosarcoma or bone cancer. A week later further tests revealed that in fact it was osteosarcoma. Since his diagnosis, Gabe and his family have been in the planning stages of treatment.
Osteosarcoma is rare form of cancer averaging less than 400 cases a year. Gabe’s treatment will begin straight away. For the next year he will endure both chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Treatment will include monthly stays at the hospital as he will also need multiple surgeries to remove and repair the damaged bone.
OUR GOAL
The “Gabe’s Got This” Fund has been formed to raise vital funds for the extensive medical treatment associated with fighting this rare bone cancer. All donations will be used to directly pay for medical expenses not covered by insurance. Your support is deeply appreciated.
